It's been a long time coming.
All right, kids. It's been a fun, if exhausting, few months, but the cast size issues are (hilariously enough), too large to overcome, and I don't have the time or energy to keep pretending the game is sustainable.
It irks me to do this, because you've all been so fabulous throughout the game; we have an extremely small cast, it's been extremely difficult to keep the plot going with a cast this size, but you all did incredible jobs. You're brilliant, innovative writers, and I hope this won't be the last we see of each other. On a personal note, though, I'm in my fourth of five years doing two degrees at once, at least one of which is honours. I'm trying to get stuff to submit for publishing, which means every bit of RP is a Not Good for my future. I've been sick, I've been busy, I've been through surprise emotional hell, and it's too exhausting trying to draw up plot calendars when so much of the plot comes out forced due to how few characters we have to push it.
Realistically, this game was probably doomed from the start; we opened too quickly, and rest assured that isn't a mistake I'll be making again. I'd like to point out first that sometime between summer and fall, Skelly and I will be opening a game with the same premise, set in MWPP era, over at![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif)

I encourage you guys to watch the mod journal with your CDJs (anyone who friends it will be friended back and able to see directories as they're finished), or just to keep it in mind; as is perhaps obvious from the projected opening date, P won't be opening until we are damned ready for it; until we have a satisfactory number of characters to start with and all the directories are well and truly done.
I'd like to encourage those of you who want to to finish or write any threads you wanted to do in this game, be they set this week or in ten years. I honestly regret that this game couldn't get off the ground, because we had such promising characters, but at this point, it's time for me to throw in my hat. Feel free to post any logs you want in the community.
Lastly, I'd like to encourage you guys to pimp any games you're in/recommend in the comments. I'm sure at least a few people are going to be looking for new places to house their muses, now. I'm also starting love threads in the comments for all the players and characters, so praise freely!
